The New Balance Girls on the Run of NJ East 5K is open to runners, joggers & walkers of every ability. No baby joggers, please. COURSE: A certified 5K course which loops through adjacent Memorial Park and Rosedale Avenue. Mostly flat. Start/finish line in lower parking lot. Because parking is limited, please consider car pooling to the event or making sure you arrive by 7:15AM. Click here for the map or enter your address below for driving directions.
Race t-shirts are guaranteed for PRE-REGISTRANTS ONLY. If you register after June 7th, t-shirts will be available ONLY while supplies last on race day.

Please register in person at the Sneaker Factory, located at 308 Millburn Avenue, Millburn (at corners of Millburn Ave. and Lackawanna Ave.)
Day of event registration will begin at 7:15am and end at 7:45am.
Race packets (number bibs, safety pins, t-shirt and goodies) for pre-registrants may be picked up prior to the race. Picking up your race packet and goodie bag will save you time on race day! If you register at the Sneaker Factory after June 7th, you will receive a race packet, however, 5K t-shirts will be available only while supplies last on race day.

The New Balance Girls on the Run of NJ East 5K is the culminating event for the girls participating in the program. All of the proceeds from this event will benefit young girls who may need financial assistance to participate in the GOTR of NJ East program, which educates and prepares girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. GOTR NJ East (a non-profit organization) currently serves 19 sites and 3 counties and over 400 girls are enrolled in our spring 2009 programs.
